In a constantly changing environment, the ECB felt that their regional development managers (RDMs) needed to gain greater understanding of the external context in which they operate to help develop the sport.
What did we do?
We developed a system for self-assessment to help identify the different learning styles of RDMs and where gaps in knowledge were to help address their learning needs. The results informed a workshop on the new policies and priorities which affect their work, which we designed and delivered.
What was the result of our work?
Armed with their newly acquired knowledge of the sports development industry, RDMs were able to work with a wider range of stakeholders and partners to help develop cricket.
